The Northwest is one step closer to getting a new grocery store.
Newsworks is reporting that local neighborhood and civics groups gave the grocery store a "yes" vote at a recent Chew and Belfield Neighbors Club meeting, meaning the store will go to city's zoning board with the area's blessing.
East Mt. Airy Neighbors were present at the meeting.
