Moms Restaurant Roundup: Roller's at Flying Fish to Silver Spoon

Patch reviews Roller's at Flying Fish, Primavera Pizza Kitchen, Hope's Cookies, Frankie's Diner, New Imperial Chinese Take-Out, Le Petit Mitron, Mango Moon and Silver Spoon

Looking for a restaurant that is family friendly? This week, Chestnut Hill Patch reviewed  on how kid-friendly it is. While there is no official kids menu, the abundance of fish is a boon for healthy eating. If fish isn’t going to cut it, there is an excellent turkey meatloaf. Click for the review.

This weekend, Patch has reviews of restaurants around the area. Find out which ones have kids’ menus and which ones are paying the most attention to food allergies.

Bruschetta, spaghetti and meatballs may be just the ticket for your little ones but make sure they’re on their best behavior at this restaurant more geared towards grown-ups. Click for the review.

Hope’s Cookies: 1125 East Lancaster Avenue Bryn Mawr, PA 19010

Cookies are the tip of the iceberg at this sweet haven. For moms that are watching what their kids eat, the frozen yogurt and fat free milkshakes offer a change of pace from the fat-laden offerings of other places. Click for the review.

Though the downstairs bar area is considered a dive by many, the upstairs dining room is clean and bright. Many of their menu items can be made kid-size if you just ask (e.g. chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers). Click for the review.

New Imperial Chinese Take-Out: 7134 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19119

A strictly take-out joint that also delivers. This could be your solution when you don’t have time to make dinner. Just make sure to leave plenty of time for delivery, the service isn’t all that fast. Click for the review.

Well prepared, freshly baked items made in the French tradition are offered here. The inventory changes daily and they have gluten-free items to boot. Stop in with your kids, they’ll get a real big kick out of the gorgeous pastries and marzipan animals. Click for the review.

An ideal place for date night with your loved one, this place has delicious Thai food, dim lighting and Asian ambiance. The only caveat is that those with severe nut allergies may not be the safest here. Click for the review.

Grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese and even some caramelized pepper bacon are indeed kid-friendly but not the most heart healthy. The sandwiches and salads on the regular menu are better for that. Click for the review.
