Moms Eat Local: Mom's Bake At Home Pizza

Find out how kid-friendly Mom's Bake At Home Pizza is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if Mom’s Bake At Home Pizza is a good place to eat with your children. For a full review of Mom’s Bake At Home check back on Thursday.

Restaurant Mom’s Bake At Home Pizza

Is there a kids’ menu? No, but the menu at Mom’s is very kid-friendly—in fact, it’s the kind of menu that kids go crazy for.  Their main gigs are pizza and strombolis with other options too—Ruby & Pearl’s homemade rolls, roasted chicken wings, pastas and salad.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? Mom’s makes pizza as healthy as it comes—your way!  You pick your own crust—white, wheat, whole grain or gluten free—and your toppings.  Then, you take it home and bake it. Their wings are not only gluten free but they are roasted instead of the traditional fried so again far healthier than your standard pizza parlor fare.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? It is worth mention and worthy of recognition that Mom’s offers a slew of gluten free options for those with wheat allergies or wheat aversions.  Mom’s is also considerate of dairy allergies.  Suffice to say that if you have allergies, Mom’s is fantastic.  They are very willing to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences and are meticulous in their efforts to prevent cross contamination when dealing with a customer with an allergy.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? The glory of Mom’s Bake At Home is that you make it in the comfort of your own home—go ahead and don your jammies early, have the kids assist with the “cooking,” sit back and relax as your home fills with the wonderful aroma of fresh baked pizza.
