Moms Eat Local: A Taste of Philly

Find out how kid-friendly A Taste of Philly in Chestnut Hill is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if A Taste of Philly is a good place to eat with your children.

Restaurant:

Is there a kids’ menu? The entire menu is kid-friendly with items like pretzel nuggets, mini pretzels and both sweet and savory soft pretzels. The water ice always comes with a pretzel nugget which kids especially love.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? The pretzels are made fresh using high quality ingredients so there are no preservatives. You can also order a pretzel with no salt which is more heart-healthy.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert the staff and they will be as accommodating as they can be.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? Kids and babies are more than welcome.
