On Saturday, December 14th the Chrysler Museum of Art Mobile Glass Studio will host a free glass blowing demonstration and create handmade glass works for holiday patrons in Chestnut Hill as part ofHolidays on the Hill. The mobile glass studio will be located behind Delphine Gallery at 8435 Germantown Ave. from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Great crowds and lots of fun are expected when the highly skilled members of the mobile glass studio team showcase their talents. The event is free and has been generously supported by The Goldenberg Group, Gravers Lane Gallery, Michael Hickey Insurance Agency and the Chestnut Hill Parking Foundation. Highlights of Holidays on the Hill include Stag and Doe Nights on Wednesdayevenings, December 4, 11, and 18. The Chestnut Hill Holiday House Tour will take place on Saturday, December 7. On Sunday afternoons, December 8, 15, and 22, between 12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m., Santa and musicians will stroll along Germantown Avenue. On Saturday, December 14, the Chestnut Hill Community Association will present a Holiday Parade from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. along the Avenue with a guest appearance from the Philly Phanatic.
