Earliest Cooking Memory: Cooking with my dad--making cookies and ice cream using a hand crank ice cream machine.

Advice for Home Cooks: Have fun!

Favorite Thing to Cook: Macaroni and cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack)

Favorite Local Restaurant: Roller's in Chestnut Hill

Favorite Restaurant in the World: Cafe Beaujolais in Mendocino, California. We went there on my honeymoon. They have this great cookbook and the chocolate cake at McNally's is based off of their wonderful chocolate cake.

Guilty Pleasure (food or drink): Pint of Guinness

Last Meal on Earth: The Schmitter (“the ultimate cheese steak” and "the planet's greatest sandwich" only available at McNally's)

Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I had overcooked something in the broiler at home, it was ruined and I left it in there. The next day I forgot it was in there and turned on the broiler again to make something else. It caused a home fire but luckily we were able to extinguish it.
