Local Architecture: The Lovett Library Branch Window

The beginnings of a new column.

You know there have been plenty of times when you've passed a large castle-like building, wondering how it got there or what encompasses its background. Or you've seen a small entity and wondered about its history.

Today, we debut a new column highlighting various architectural finds throughout Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill. Some weeks we'll feature more text than photos, in others, the opposite will appear to be true.

The window pictured here was part of the library's original building before an addition was put on there. It features stained glass that shows a flower there.
