Learn How ACA Could Impact Mt. Airy

A workshop on the new law is taking place at Wine Thief.

For those unclear on how the Affordable Care Act will impact local business: Mt. Airy's business association has your back.

Mt. Airy USA is hosting a panel at Wine Thief on October 16 that will "discuss small business tax credits, health insurance exchanges, wellness grants and cost containment" in terms of local businesses and Obamacare.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Valerie Arkoosh, president of the National Physicians Alliance and will feature a panel of experts, according to a release from Mt. Airy USA.

"[This] session provides entrepreneurs a chance to learn about the new law and share ideas about how to implement it in Pennsylvania," the release states.

The workshop is schooled for Tuesday, October 16 at 5 p.m. at Wine Thief, located at 7152 Germantown Avenue. Admission is free for members, $5 for non-members. Contact Elizabeth at emoselle@mtairyusa.com to attend.
