Iron Hill Sets Date for Opening

Hillers have been watching the renovations at 8400 Germantown Ave. with anticipation of the big day: Iron Hill's opening.

That day has nearly arrived, as the restaurant and brewery has set Jan. 4 as the opening day. A ceremonial first pour of Iron Hill's brews will be held at 4 p.m. Iron Hill founders Kevin Finn, Kevin Davies and Mark Edelson will be there to celebrate the opening of their first Philadelphia location with Councilman Bill Green and Councilwoman Cindy Bass with a toast.

The restaurant will officially be open to the public at 5 p.m. The Chestnut Hill location is the first inside of Philadelphia and the ninth overall location of Iron Hill.
