According to a statement from Neil Campbell and Andy Shahan, Goat Hollow restaurant will open in Mt. Airy this Janurary.
“Andy and I have lived in Mt. Airy for years and we really felt and heard our community asking for more quality dining options closer to home,” Campbell said in a release. “We are excited to open our doors and welcome neighbors and friends as we would into our own home; only with much tastier food and drinks.”
Goat Hollow’s menu will be crafted and executed by Chef Adam Glickman, a former Mt. Airy resident.
The restaurant’s namesake, Goat Hollow Tavern, shuttered in 2004 with 17 operating years under its belt. Since then it has housed various concepts, the last one vacating the space in 2008.
