Updated: Closings and Delays Caused by Sandy

If you're shutting down your business due to Hurricane Sandy, shoot an email over to Patch editor Nate Adams at nathana@patch.com including the closing and expected re-opening times, and we'll let your customers know with this constantly updating list.

Trolley Car Diner: According to a release from restaurant owner Ken Weinstein, the Trolly Car Diner in Mt. Airy will close at 2 p.m. on Monday and is scheduled to re-open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

State Liquor Stores: Philly.com is reporting that all 170 state liquor stores in the Greater Philadelphia Area are closed for Monday, with a decision on Tuesday to be made later tonight.

Food For All: Food for All in Mt. Airy announced from their twitter feed that they are open for business on Monday.

For the safety of our members and our staff, All Weavers Way Stores will be closed Monday October 29. 

Decisions about hours and operations on Tuesday will be made once we have more information about the impact of the storm. We hope you will all stay safe. 

The Bone Appetite: The Chestnut Hill boutique sent us this message Sunday morning:

The Bone Appetite, 8517 Germantown Ave, will conduct business as usual today, Sunday. Self Serve Dog Wash will be open from 11-3. However, we will not be doing the Halloween Parade and will close at 4 p.m.

Oxford Circus Toys at 8127 Germantown Avenue will be closed on Tuesday, October 30th due to hurricane Sandy.
