Bredenbeck's Competes for 'Most Loved Cake'

The bakery will go up against 20 other cake competitors.

"The Night Circus" is the theme of the ambitious cake designer Diana Anello will unveil Feb. 10 for a competition in Princeton the next day.

Based on the cover of the novel of the same name, the cake will be shaped like a circus tent, "with various performers and elaborate details," said Bredenbeck's spokeswoman Lindsay Ehlers Cox.

The cake will be going up against more than 20 bakeries throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey to attempt to take the title of "Most Loved Cake" at a Feb. 11 fundraiser in Princeton.

The event will benefit Ryan's Quest, a non-profit organization that raises funds for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research. Competition judges will include Food Network’s Iron Chef Judge Donatella Arpaia and The Cake Artist Vince Buzzetta, from WE tv’s Staten Island Cakes, according to Ehlers Cox.
