Black Olive Restaurant Building Sells

The vacant Mt. Airy property sold at a Philadelphia tax sale Wednesday.

Newsworks reports that the building that once housed the Black Olive restaurant sold for $67,000 at a Philadelphia tax sale Wednesday.

According to Newsworks, that's about half of the propertt's current value according to city records.

Newsworks reports that a fire broke out at the location of 22 East Mt. Airy Avenue at around 5 p.m. on June 14, 2011.  The fire roared through the building ultimately destroying the roof.
