Be A Part of Mural Creation at Bredenbeck's Saturday

An event encourages community participation in the mural artwork.

A walk up Germantown Avenue shows the . For the past few weeks passersby can see the outline and some color coming into place on the artwork that part of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program.

Now, on Saturday, June 30, neighbors can take a part in the mural work. Bredenbeck’s has announced a community mural work day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

During the event, community members can meet the mural artist, Ann Northrup, help sketch the mural design and take a break to decorate some cookies.

The event is open to all ages, according to Bredenbeck’s announcement, and supplies and instructions will be provided onsite.
