Now Playing at The Stagecrafters: The Price

Arthur Miller's 1968 play runs until June 26.

Arthur Miller is arguably one of the greatest, and most well known American playwrights of all time. And one of his works, The Price is being produced now at , 8130 Germantown Avenue, in Chestnut Hill.

Miller’s acclaimed works include Death of a Salesman, The Crucible and A View From the Bridge.

The Price was first produced in 1968, and ran for 429 performances on Broadway. The play looks at the estranged relationship of two brothers as they deal with the unpleasant task of dealing with their late parents’ estate.

Performance dates are June 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 at 8 p.m., June 12, 19, 26 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are priced at $16.00 online.  (Thursday evening performances have a two for $25 special).  Students with valid ID pay $13.00 at the door.  Groups of 15 or more are offered a reduced rate of $13.00 a ticket, paid in advance.  The box office opens 45 minutes before each performance.
