Grab & Go Kids Planner: Gatherings For Babies, Storytime, Open Mics

A list of a few family-friendly things going on this week in Northwest Philadelphia.

Here's this week's installment of our , which documents upcoming family- and kid-friendly activities in the Northwest.

Key Wilde and Mr. Clark music performance, Treehouse ROCKS! Family Entertainment Series
- Where/When: 
Little Treehouse, 10 W. Gravers Lane, Saturday from 6 to 6:45 p.m. with guaranteed dinner seating either before or after the show.
- Why Go: 
These musicians deliver clever, laugh-out-loud lyrics in their bluegrass/punk/rock-type style and have won the Parents Choice Gold Award, according to the Treehouse Rocks Web site. Come to hear original, upbeat family tunes.
- Pricing: 
$5 adults, $15 children (includes Treehouse Kid’s Meal: entrée, side and drink). Reservations required and include scheduled dinner seating time. To make a reservation, call 215-247-3637.

Open Mic at Mugshots
- Where/When: 
Mugshots Coffeehouse, 110 Cotton St., on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Play a song, read a poem, tell a story! Adam Monaco hosts this fun event for the whole family.

Kids Storytime With Molly at The Cedars House
- Where/When: 
The Cedars House, Forbidden Drive at Northwestern Avenue in Fairmount Park, on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
- Why Go: 
Come with your young ones to hear stories in our activities room. One story with a fitness and/or nature theme will be selected each week. Stories are generally geared toward children ages two to four but all are welcome. Snacks will also be served.

Baby Play Group at The Nesting House
Where/When: 
The Nesting House, 606 Carpenter Lane, on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Meet other parents and babies ages six to 12 months in the neighborhood.
