Storyteller Jack Finnegan

Journey from the dusty streets of Guatemala City to the mountainous megalopolises of South America… venture through mazes of markets in Marrakech and Cape Town... pick at the scabs of history in Berlin and Istanbul...explore
New Delhi... Shanghai... Melbourne... These and other cities are the subjects of City Love Song, a theatrically presented, clear-eyed examination of life as it is lived in cities around our world.

This nationally touring portrait of our global neighborhood represents the third and final cycle of City Love Song,
a project in travel and storytelling. First a story about New York City that traveled the United States (2009), City Love Song became a story about America, performed in NYC and Scotland (2010-11) and then presented in the public squares of 13 cities on six continents (2011). The cities and people of that journey are the basis of this storytelling performance.
