Poetry Reading with Iain Haley Pollock

Iain Haley Pollock, the 2010 recipient of the Cave Canem Poetry Prize, will read from his recently published work, Spit Back a Boy.

Nominated by Elizabeth Alexander, 2005 Pulitzer Prize Finalist and Obama Inauguration Poet, Pollock received the award for his acclaimed collection of poetry, Spit Back a Boy, published by the University of Georgia Press.

Pollock was interviewed on Radio Times this summer and has appeared at Haverford College as Distinguished Visitor recently. He is currently an English teacher at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.

Following the reading, Pollock will hold an audience Q&A conducted by two SCH Academy seniors.
