Fifteenth Festival of Music and Art

The Fifteenth Festival of Music and Art at Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill will be March 19 and 20, 2011. The festival will present the Concert Choir from Germantown Friends School at 8:00 p.m., March 19, featuring Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. Also included are works by Paul Ayres, Paul Halley, Morten Lauridsen, Wolfgang Mozart, and Randall Stroope. A $5.00 donation will help defray the cost of the performance and the reception following the concert.

The works of five local artists will have a variety of works on display at Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill. The artists all studied at Studio Incamminati, an advanced realist art academy located in Center City Philadelphia. Founded by Nelson and Leona Shanks, it is distinguished by a rigorous curriculum and unique teaching methods.
