38th Annual Irish Music and Dance Festival

2012 PCG Annual
Irish Traditional Music & Dance Festival
This 38th Annual Irish Traditional Music and Dance
Festival is going to be very special this year as we welcome back to the
Festival, for the first time in twenty-five years, Dé Danann. Additionally, this
year’s festival has something for everyone: a night of Irish song with some of
the very best local singers of Irish traditional songs; a very special Ceili
dance with live music by the McGillians & Friends; a Friday night
Philadelphia premiere of Sean Tyrrell’s one-man show, “Who Killed James Joyce”,
and a very special Saturday night concert with revered uilleann piper Paddy
Keenan and featuring Dé Danann with Alec Finn. There will be Irish dance
demonstrations, music all day Saturday, workshops with internationally known
musicians. Perfect activities for the whole family, all ages!
