Tickets Available: Pints for North Light

Fundraiser set for Thursday to aide North Light Community Center.

One of Manayunk and Roxborough's biggest and most impactful nonprofits—the North Light Community Center—hosts a large fundraiser Thursday.

The fourth annual "Pints for North Light" combines the long-standing human services group with the Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant's love of suds.

"The funds raised through this event are critical to North Light’s continued work in the community. Your participation helps provide food for families in need, quality day care for children and job training and academic supports for teens," according to a news release.

Tickets for the fundraiser start at $50 and get you access to beers from more than 10 breweries from 7 to 10 p.m. Additionally, microbrews from the Manayunk Brewing Company and wine from Tamanend Winery are also available.

Plus, VIP ticket holders get access at 6 p.m.

Local businesses will also supply food, like Baggataway Tavern, Beer Cakes Philly, Deke’s BBQ, the Couch Tomato, Dream House Asian Bistro, Lanci’s Bakery, Nolt’s Chicken BBQ and Pierogie Kitchen.
