Local teen community service sensation, Teenagers Inc., more commonly referred to as Teens Inc., will be hosting its annual fundraising extravaganza, Sunday, November 17th, 2013.  The event coined the, “Taste of Chestnut Hill”, is to be held at St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 22 E. Chestnut Hill Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118, between the hours of 5:30 & 8PM.

Teens Inc., a community service organization founded in 1996 is based out of Chestnut Hill, servicing teens of Northwest Philadelphia and the contiguous Montgomery County.   Under the umbrella of giving back to the community, teens are provided a safe haven where they can mingle with their peers while still providing service to others.  The Teen Center, located at 105 Bethlehem Pike, Philadelphia, PA 19118, is open to teens and pre-teens for homework assistance, service projects, hanging out and having fun with their friends.  The Teens Inc., organization, provides teens the opportunity to develop their social, leadership and civic skills, in a safe and loving environment.

This year’s theme will be based on coming full circle, as they head Back to the Future and Beyond.  Reaching yet another milestone since their inception, esteemed Director, Marianne Dwyer, will be stepping down from her position, passing the reign to newcomer and Teens Inc. alum Arianna Neromiliotis.

The evening is described as a casual event where guests are invited to ‘Come as you are and leave your worries at home’.  Children of all ages and sizes are welcomed with open arms.  Complimentary babysitting to allow parents the opportunity to relax and mingle knowing their children are safe, happy, entertained and well fed, will make for a great “Almost Date Night” for parents with youngsters at home. Teen members of the organization will delight and amaze with their abilities to serve guests, entertain little ones and cleanup afterwards.
