“We understand this is going to be an adjustment for the residents and visitors of our great shopping and restaurant district.  The Chestnut Hill Parking Foundation is spreading the word so people will be educated about the new paid-parking system,” said John Ingersoll, president of the parking foundation, in a press release.  “Most other neighborhoods in Philadelphia have had these PPA kiosks installed for years and this new revenue will allow us to maintain and upgrade parking lot lighting, cameras and fund snow removal and landscaping.”
