Malt Ball IV: The Big Dance Is Back

The Mt. Airy Learning Tree will hold its fourth annual fundraising dance on April 13.

The following is a press release from the Mt. Airy Learning Tree.

It’s so much fun that it is back for a 4th time. The MALT Ball, the Northwest’s wide open Line Dance extravaganza, breaks out at 7:00 on Saturday night, April 13, at the Commodore Barry Club, 6815 Emlen Street.

Christened MALT Ball IV, this dance is a wildly popular fund-raiser for the Mt. Airy Learning Tree, the non-profit community education organization headquartered in West Mt. Airy.  Organized by Mr. Nick Roby, the Mt. Airy Learning Tree’s unofficial dance master, the event brings together three exciting Line Dance DJs, six of the area’s best dance instructors, and hundreds of stepping and shuffling dancers and fans for one exhilarating night. Ticket holders get a full evening of Line Dancing, instruction in Salsa and Zumba steps, the latest Line Dance moves, and room to work it to the best Bop, Cha Cha, and Salsa beats. There will be a cash bar, snacks, and door prizes. The dress is casual and the shoes should be comfortable because the dancing lasts until 1:00.
