- Where: The Waldorf School of Philadelphia, 7500 Germantown Ave.
- Why Go: Friday night is an adults only opportunity to shop amongst over 30 juried artisans and enjoy live music, shopping and gourmet food without the kids. Saturday, bring the whole family for a day of shopping, home-made organic foods, puppet shows, a children-only holiday shopping room, a choral performance and more.

Five Fridays Concert Series: The Dali Quartet

- Why Go: Taking place by candle light, every Five Fridays concert includes a wine reception and chance to greet the artist. All proceeds benefit Face-to-Face Germantown and the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Northwest Philadelphia.

Circle of Trees - Tree Lighting
- When: Friday, Nov. 16, 6 p.m.
- Where: Christ Ascension Lutheran Church
- Why Go: Bring the family for Chestnut Hill's annual tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy an evening filled with goodies, music and family fun for the neighborhood on the church's front lawn.

- Why Go: Bring the kids and let them watch this weeks movie WALL-E, while mom and dad enjoy the sounds of Monnette Sudler’s Ladies Night Out, this weeks Friday Night Jazz ensemble.

Wissahickon Stormwater Project Walk with Peg Shaw
- When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m.
- Where: Meet at the lower parking lot (Chestnut Hill Side) of Bell’s Mill Road
- Why Go: Wondering what’s happening along Bell’s Mill Road? Join this hike and discussion of land use and storm water impacts on the Wissahickon Valley and take a look at the Philadelphia Water Department’s stream channel mitigation project along Bell’s Mill Road. Wear appropriate hiking shoes and weather appropriate clothing. This is a rain or shine event.
