Classic Sunday's at Woodmere - The Opera Company of Philadelphia

  • Where: Woodmere Art Museum
  • Why Go: The Opera Company of Philadelphia offers seasonal favorites from various centuries. Light refreshments served. Performance and "get to know the artist" reception.

Holiday Art Market

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 22 and Sunday, Dec. 23 from Noon - 6 p.m.
  • Where: Mt Airy Art Garage, 11 W. Mt. Airy Ave
  • Why Go: Featuring all original fine art and handcrafts by local Northwest artists.
  • Cost: Free

Seasonal Tune-Up Yoga Workshop

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m.
  • Where: Blue Banyan Yoga
  • Why Go: Join Sophie for the first of 'Seasonal Tune-Ups' at Blue Banyan. These workshops will focus on balancing therapies informed by the essential qualities of each new season. Part lecture, part discussion, part asana and pranayama practice.

Gin Canaries at Earth Bread

Holiday Garden Railway

  • When: Now through December 31, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Where: Morris Arboretum, 100 W Northwestern Ave, Chestnut Hill
  • Why Go: Come see the magical miniature world of the garden railway display, lit up and decorated for the holidays. Model trains zip in and out of tunnels and over bridges along the outdoor quarter mile track that runs through the village of historic Philadelphia landmarks.
