Japanese Paper Figures at the Morris Arboretum

Japanese Paper Figures

Allison Zito
Artist and Teacher, Harcum College

Children will hear a story that takes place in the shadow of Mount Fuji. This story holds messages about the power of kindness, sharing and friendship, where children are the heroes. We will look at and discuss great works of art and the students will make their own Japanese paper figure to take home. This class is for children ages 3-5. Children in this class must be accompanied by an adult. All materials will be provided.
