Ben Franklin Bridge Shuts Sunday Morning for 10K

About 4,500 runners will hit the bridge for the annual charity race.

Don't plan on crossing the Ben Franklin Bridge on Sunday morning using almost anything with wheels.

The bridge will closed to traffic in both directions starting at 7:45 a.m., as about 4,500 runners get set for the annual Run the Bridge 10K, which goes off at 8:30 a.m.

The bridge is scheduled to reopen to traffic around 9:30 a.m., after all the runners have cleared the span.
