Willy Wonka, Jr. Wows!

The world-famous candy man and his pure imagination paid a visit to Norwood-Fontbonne Academy recently!  In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, NFA’s seventh and eighth grade Drama Club brought the hilarious and enchanting stage adaptation, Willy Wonka, Jr., to its Sister James Anthony Hall stage in late March.

The cast and crew worked tirelessly since November to bring such characters as Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe, and the quirky Oompa Loompas to life!  One of 65 plus co-curricular activities offered at NFA, the Drama program serves as an extension to the English Language Arts, music, and art curriculum.
