Business Networking: The Business Association of Mt. Airy will host a networking session at the Mt. Airy USA offices at 6703 Germantown Avenue, Suite 200 (above the post office at Phil-Ellena St. and Germantown Avenue- enter from back parking lot) at 1:30 p.m.

This day in history: On Aug. 28, 1955, Black teenager Emmett Till is brutally murdered in Mississippi, galvanizing the nascent American Civil Rights Movement..
