Boy Scouts NeededA local Germantown Troop needs some new recruits.  "Boy Scout Troop 1719, chartered to First United Methodist Church of Germantown, a Reconciling Congregation, is recruiting new members this fall! We welcome boys, ages 11 through 18, from all types of families to accept the challenge of fitness, community service, leadership, and adventure in the outdoors.

Our Troop specializes in precision drill with the Scout Quarterstaff, which encourages teamwork and trust. Boys work on rank advancement and camping achievements during the year, and aspire to follow the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives.
