Concert, Rain This Friday in Chestnut Hill

There will be a free concert at Walk A Crooked Mile Books, and it's supposed to rain.

Here's what's going on around town Friday.

Free Concert: A KABBALAT SHABBAT, RABBI MARCIA PRAGER AND CANTOR JACK KESSLER will create a song-filled gathering for everyone in which we welcome Shabbat, the weekly time for heightening our connection with the divine! Bathed in candle-light glow, we’ll sing, dance, and offer prayers for light, love and peace using ancient words of Hebrew sacred prayer and new words that our modern journeys have taught us. Note different time 6pm - 7ish, and there will not be a rain date.

When: Friday, October 11th, 6pm - 7ish

Where: Walk A Crooked Mile Books, 7423 Devon Street
