Benefit Concert and Everything Else Going On Friday

Benefit concert at the train station tops Friday's events.

Here's what's going on Friday in Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy.

Benefit Concert: 
There will be a benefit concert on Friday at 7 p.m. at the  Mt. Airy Train Station located at 7423 Devon St.  Phillip Bennett is a fine singer/songwriter with a beautiful tenor voice. He is backed by  Jim McKay on guitar and Harry Gould on bass and will present an evening of his original songs as well as covers. Donations will benefit the Jubilee School in West Philadelphia. As always, bring lawn chairs, blankets, your kids, your dog, and your friends for a mellow night of music under the stars. Rain date is Saturday October 5 same time and place.
