What do you LOVE most about Wyck? (Curious to learn more?)
Launching on Saturday, July 14th, Second Saturday Festivals will present the best of Wyck's programming in history, horticulture, urban agriculture, food and nutrition, and conservation. Over the course of four fun afternoons (11:00-4:00), Wyck's entire site - the house, the collections, the rose garden, the farm, and more - will open up for the community to explore a particular theme. Activities will include workshops, talks, demonstrations, special tours, live music, and art, for adults as well as children. The best part? All of this is free of charge and open to the general public.
July 14: Trinkets, Tales and Tomatoes: Things We Treasure
August 11: Homegrown: Food Roots, Culture and Community
Sept. 8: Beyond the Buzz: Why Bees Matter (part of the Phila. Honey Festival)
October 13: Expedition! Nature's Curiosities
