 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. &nbsp\;Just consider it a "March Madness" warm-
 up! Springside  Chestnut Hill Academy is hosting the city&rsquo\;s only 
 FIRST Robotics  District Competition featuring teams of basketball-shoot
 ing robots going  3-on-3 on the courts in the Vare Field House. High sch
 ool students from  38 schools will be fielding their creations\, which t
 hey have programmed  to play offense and defense\, and calculate distanc
 e and angle to sink  baskets from as far as 30 feet away!Families attend
 ing this  event can enjoy the good-spirited and friendly competition\, g
 rab a bite  to eat at the cafe\, and cheer on their favorite &lsquo\;bot
 s\, including  Springside Chestnut Hill Academy&rsquo\;s very own Vulcan
  Viper.
