DESCRIPTION:Olde City Day School has a beautiful state of the art facilit
 y\, which is safe and secure with alarms and cameras in all classrooms. 
 We have an open door policy\, which encourages parents to visit or obser
 ve their child at any time. In addition\, we have monitors in all of our
  classrooms that parents can access to view their child's exciting learn
 ing experience.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nWe have a phenomenal curriculum that be
 gins in our infant classrooms and goes through kindergarten. Our develop
 mentally appropriate curriculum is designed around the Pennsylvania Earl
 y Learning Standards and is written to meet each child&rsquo\;s individu
 al needs. Olde City Day School&rsquo\;s curriculum is divided into four 
 major areas:&nbsp\;Language Arts\, Creative Expression\, Science and Mat
 h\, and Gym and Music.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;A fifth area\,&nbsp\;Emotional Intel
 ligence/Social Studies&nbsp\;is taught whenever the opportunity arises a
 nd is deliberately integrated into the lessons of the other curriculum a
 reas. All of our curricular planning and implementation offers a differe
 nt style of learning\, appropriate materials and equipment\, and alterna
 tes between child-initiated and teacher-directed activities.&nbsp\;Our&n
 bsp\;teaching themes introduce ideas and concepts that invite the childr
 en to explore our world\, and provide the foundations for scaffolding ch
 ildren&rsquo\;s learning.&nbsp\;In addition\, sign language and Spanish 
 is incorporated throughout our daily lessons.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nW
 e have an indoor play area that includes play structures for infants\, t
 oddlers\, preschoolers and school age children. This fun filled room wil
 l be used for dramatic play\, free play and curriculum extensions. We se
 rve a hot lunch with milk\, dessert and two snacks daily. &nbsp\; &nbsp\
 ;\n&nbsp\;\nIn addition\, we also have awesome enrichment programs that 
 are taught by qualified instructors who are accredited in their field.&n
 bsp\; These programs include nutrition\, yoga\, and music.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp
 \;\nLast but not least\, our program is open Monday through Friday from 
 6:30am-6:30pm.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nWe will begin touring the week of Novemb
 er 5th.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nPlease join us at one of our open houses- Wedne
