Our speaker will be Lisa Nutter, President of Philadelphia Academies, Inc., a non-profit youth development organization that works in Philadelphia's public high schools to provide career-based learning, college readiness support, and positive adult networks that motivate young people to graduate and prepare them for the 21st century economy. Her work has focused on approaches that best support young people in their transition to adulthood. She actively advocates for, and her organization implements, instruction that links learning to the real world and promotes youth resiliency.
