  The class is for anyone who has ever been frustrated trying to paint\, 
 and wants to enhance their daily lives through creativity.&nbsp\; I expl
 ain the concepts of the class on the first day with a lecture and a pain
 ting demo\, and allow students to ask questions and take notes.&nbsp\; S
 tudents need a sketchbook and pencils for the first day.&nbsp\; The clas
 s is structured so that students first familiarize themselves with mater
 ials and brush response\, and then proceed into color through concept an
 d observation.&nbsp\; Classes are small and ongoing\, allowing students 
 to progress at their own pace\, build confidence as they go\, and progre
 ss towards a mastery of the oil painting process\, including elements su
 ch as: color harmonies\, perspective\, golden section composition\, and 
 the artistic anatomy of trees.\nWe schedule these classes according to s
 tudents' own availability.
