DESCRIPTION:The Early Childhood Program (ECP) at the Germantown Jewish Ce
 ntre will be hosting Sit n' Sips and an Open House for prospective famil
 ies (see below). Anyone is welcome! These Sit n' Sips will take place in
  an ECP parent's home\, with the intent that prospective parents will be
  able to chat informally with the director and a few parents about the p
 lay-based program. Light drinks and snacks will be served. ECP fosters g
 rowth of children from 6 months to 5 years of age\, offering half-day an
 d full-day options. ECP stresses &ldquo\;learning through doing&rdquo\; 
 using a multisensory approach and emphasizes the importance of play\; we
  understand that children&rsquo\;s work is play. The teachers utilize ma
 ny learning styles to engage the children and allow for individual diffe
 rences. Through this approach the staff assists in the development of co
 gnitive\, social-emotional\, language\, and physical skills. Thursday\,
