DESCRIPTION:The Early Childhood Program (ECP) at the Germantown Jewish Ce
 ntre  will be hosting Sit n' Sips and an Open House for prospective fami
 lies  (see below). Anyone is welcome! These Sit n' Sips will take place 
 in an  ECP parent's home\, with the intent that prospective parents will
  be able  to chat informally with the director and a few parents about t
 he  play-based program. Light drinks and snacks will be served. ECP  fos
 ters growth of children from 6 months to 5 years of age\, offering  half
 -day and full-day options. ECP stresses &ldquo\;learning through doing&r
 dquo\;  using a multisensory approach and emphasizes the importance of p
 lay\; we  understand that children&rsquo\;s work is play. The teachers u
 tilize many  learning styles to engage the children and allow for indivi
 dual  differences. Through this approach the staff assists in the develo
 pment  of cognitive\, social-emotional\, language\, and physical skills.
