St. Michael's hosts a free community meal each week on Saturdays. It consists of hot food, casseroles, a drink, fruit and homemade cookies.
Donations are welcome, and the church is also always looking for volunteers to help out with the meal.

More About St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church
St. Michael's has been serving the Mount Airy residents since approximately 1736 and the church remains a vibrant outreach to the local community today. They provide a free meal for all those who are interested in getting to know their congregation members on Saturdays and members gather to walk the neighborhood going door to door to meet their neighbors on a regular basis. Coffee hour always follows worship services in the spirit of fellowship and friendship.
