Carpenter's Woods Tree Watering
Carpenter's Woods, Wayne Ave & W Sedgwick St, Philadelphia, PA | Get Directions »
FREE
Volunteers will meet at the Ellet Kiosk, inside the Ellet St. entrance to the Woods, or on the loop trail, near the fantasy fence, to check and water the new trees on the Carpenter's Woods hillside. Look for the truck and David Bower of Parks & Recreation.
Wear sturdy shoes and long pants, as you will be working on the hillside where there isn't any trail. Due to the heat, a bottle of water for hydration is also advised. Insect repellent strongly recommended.
All are welcome to join in this important activity.
Friends of Carpenter's Woods thanks you for your help!
Since we've begun this effort, our new trees are starting to show improvement, in spite of the drought.
