Avenida serves traditional Latin American dishes, including Guatemalan chicken pepian, roasted chicken mishote, marquez sausage, carne guisada, roasted tomato soup, roasted beet salad, grilled octopus, vegetarian fundido and steak tortas. The restaurant is located in a house built in the 1700s, giving patrons the feel of historic Mount Airy. Family-style dining and kids menus are offered. Brunch is served on Sundays.
