Art at the Barnes - Workshop
This 4-session lecture and visual presentation series with art historian Marilyn MacGregor will give you a deeper understanding of the magnificent art at the Barnes Museum and will answer puzzling questions. Why aren't artists, titles and dates identified? Why is African Art displayed next to French Impressionism? And why was Dr. Barnes' approach to art education considered radical at the time?
