GJC Men's Club invites you to meet ACLAMO Executive Director Juan Guerra and learn the story of immigrants in Norristown. According to the 2010 census, more than 9,000 Hispanics, 78 percent of Mexican heritage, live in Norristown. Hispanics are 28.3 percent of the city's population compared to 5.7 percent of Pennsylvania's population statewide. Founded 35 years ago, ACLAMO Family Centers provide educational, health and social services to low-income individuals and families in Montgomery County, especially those of Spanish-speaking heritage.
