As new eq uipment becomes available\, we use this special fund to make any necess ary purchases. This year\, we are planning to support our breastfeeding mothers with babies in our NICU by providing them educational DVDs and a DVD player to use while on bed rest in the hospital or while they ar e visiting their infants. This information will help to increase their success of breastfeeding their babies. Money raised from this outing wi ll help to pay for this program. Breast milk is critical to the surviva l of our NICU babies and this will go a long way to help mothers provid e the best nourishment possible for these critically-ill infants. All r emaining money will be used to fund our parent support group\, PAN (Par ents Advisory Network) and to expand our developmental follow-up progra m.
