Fresh & Local Fair Returns to Weavers Way Co-op Chestnut Hill, Saturday May 19

On Saturday, May 19, Weavers Way Co-op and our local vendors and farmers will celebrate the local growing season with our second annual Fresh & Local Fair, from noon to 4 p.m., in the backyard of Weavers Way Chestnut Hill, 8424 Germantown Avenue. In addition to Weavers Way Farms, we will have product samples and demos from: Iron Hill Brewery; Calkins Creamery; Moshe’s; Chung’s Sushi; Koch’s Deli; Bobbies Hummus; John & Kira’s Chocolates; Reanimator Coffee; Sun & Earth; My House Bakery; Real Pickles; Martin’s Sausage; D’Artagnan, and Philly Cow Share. Come by and enjoy some live music, sample lots of locally grown and prepared foods, and meet some of Weavers Way’s Farmers at this fun-filled event.

Weavers Way Co-op is a member-owned food co-op with 5,000 member households and stores in West Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill. Weavers Way has a longstanding commitment to healthy food, healthy communities, and a healthy environment, offering a friendly shopping environment and quality products that are locally grown, sustainable, and nutritious. Weavers Way creatively and energetically invests itself back into the communities that make us what we are. Membership in the Co-op is open to everyone, and all are welcome to become members and owners.
