9th Ward Democrats Endorse Kathleen Kane for Attorney General

By a nearly unanimous vote, Kathleen Kane received the 9th Ward Democratic Committee’s endorsement for Pennsylvania Attorney General.

“Pennsylvania has never elected a Democrat for Attorney General and the ward committee felt Kathleen Kane had the best possible chance of defeating her Republican opponent this fall,” said Ward Leader John O’Connell.

Kane was an Assistant District Attorney for Lackawanna County for 13 years and has tried over 3,000 cases.

The ward was also impressed with Kane’s experience, qualifications and independence. She presented herself as a person of immense integrity and laid out a strategy to protect our seniors, preserve the environment, stand up for consumers, weed out public corruption and, equally as important, has a plan to work with our communities to prevent crime and abuse.

Kane vowed, if elected, that she would immediately drop the state’s law suit against President Obama’s healthcare intitive.

Kane is also recommended by the Philadelphia Inquirer and endorsed by former President Bill Clinton. For more information about her campaign visit her website.

Don't know too much about Kane outside of her (and her opponent's) commercial. However her giving money to the campaign of Tom Corbett is a good reason for any democrat not to want to vote for her... the only argument I can think of is that maybe she is conservative enough that she might win?
