There will be a watch party in Mt. Airy for when President Obama accepts the Democratic party's nomination for president.

The party will be at Obama campaign headquarters at 6843 Germantown Ave at 5 p.m.

Former president Bill Clinton is scheduled to introduce Obama.

Join us on September 6th as we gather with friends and neighbors to watch President Obama accept the nomination at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. We'll watch the speech live, enjoy each other's company, and make plans for the weekend of action on Sept. 8 and 9.

The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to kick off Tuesday night, and Michelle Obama will be the keynote speaker then.
