Undisclosed Cash Stolen in Bank Robbery
The FBI is looking for help finding a man though to be connected to a Northwest bank robbery Thursday.
The FBI has released the following statement and photos in connection to Thursday's bank robbery of the Citizen's Bank at the corner of Stenton Avenue and Washington Lane.
From the FBI:
At approximately 2:30 p.m., the subject entered the bank, and handed a teller a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area.
The subject is described as a male in his 30s, 6’2” tall, thick build, with a short beard. He wore a tan jacket, blue jeans, and a tan winter hat with colored stripes on the trim.
This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture.

I believe it is Patch's policy not to disclose the race of persons suspected of crimes, but I am surprised that this is not mentioned in the FBI's statement. Did Patch edit the statement to remove a description of the suspect's race?
